Star Wars Battlefront revealed

Game will be launched a month before the movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, releases
At the Star Wars celebration event last week, EA and DICE showed a trailer of the highly anticipated Star Wars: Battlefront and announced the game’s release date.
The multiplayer shooter was first unveiled at E3 2013, and is now confirmed to be a part of Disney’s revival of the Star Wars franchise. The game will launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 17, 2015; a month before the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie.
Without downplaying the popularity of previous Battlefront games, launching alongside the first true Star Wars sequel in 32 years generates further interest from audiences that generally do not play video games.
Battlefront will use Frostbite 3 and while the entire trailer was in-engine, running on a PS4, the footage looked stunning. DICE has confirmed that both first person and third person modes will be available but those looking for a more traditional campaign and space battles will be disappointed as neither of those will be in the final product.
Players will be able to control iconic Star Wars characters, including Darth Vader and battle on 4 planets; with each planet being home to more than 2 maps. EA has also promised free DLC in the form of the Battle of Jakku, a desert planet prominently featured in the movie. We are bound to get a full gameplay demo at E3 2015 during EA’s press conference.
