Record 97.99 per cent pass in SSLC; 12,287 bag A Plus

No moderation was given in this year

Thiruvananthapuram: The state witnessed a record pass percentage of 97.99 in this year's SSLC examination, which was an increase of 2.52 percent from last year.

Of the total of 4, 68,466 students appeared, 4, 58,841 students became eligible for higher studies, education minister P. K. Abdu Rabb said while announcing the results here on Monday. No moderation was given in this year.

A total of 1501 schools recorded cent per cent victory while 12,287 students bagged A+ grade in all the subjects. D+ grade is the eligibility for higher studies.

Kannur topped the list of revenue districts in pass percentage with 97.99 while Muvattupuzha topped the education districts with 99.30 per cent.

Palakkad district registered the least percentage of 93. 42. In Lakshadweep, 896 out of the 1128 students passed while 464 of the 461 students who took the exams from the Gulf region passed.

The results will be available on websites keralapareekshabhavan.in, results.kerala.nic.in, keralaresults.nic.in, kerala.gov.in, www.results.itschool.gov.in and result.prd.kerala.gov.in.

Apart from the SSLC examinations, results of THSLC, SSLC (hearing impaired), THSLC (hearing impaired) and AHSLC were also announced. Of the 3599 THSLC students 3550 have passed (98.64 percent).

Of the 322 SSLC (hearing impaired) students, 315 passed (97.83 percent) while all the 16 candidates who appeared for the THSLC (hearing impaired) have passed. Of the 75 students who appeared for the AHSLC, 72 passed (96 per cent).
