Lasith Malinga will fire soon: Rohit Sharma
Mumbai Indians skipper believes that pacer is a game away from getting back into form
Mumbai: Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma believes that pacer Lasith Malinga is a game away from getting back into form. “I guess Malinga is a little down. But a guy like him needs just one game to come back to form. The year we won the IPL (2013), he was not there for the first 7-8 games. We believe in him it’s just a matter of one game. We all know his strength,” Rohit said.
“When Malinga doesn’t take wickets upfront it becomes a bit difficult. Even today he tried his best, got one wicket, but it was just not any bowler’s day today. We tried everything possible in the first six overs but it didn’t come off. We have to give credit to their batsmen who batted well,” he said. Mumbai Indians have been also battling top-order woes and Rohit admitted they are still searching for best combination.
