Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao
Hyderabad: The Telangana government is paving the way for a major land acquisition in the city soon to build flyovers, skyways and multi-grade separators to ease traffic congestion on busy city roads and junctions as part of the Strategic Road Development Programme.
Shapoorji Pallonji Mistry, chairman of construction major Shapoorji Pallonji Group, met Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao on April 16 and offered to invest '20,000 crore to take up these projects. However, land acquisition for this project remains a major concern.
