FM Arun Jaitley shall review the I-T compliance requirements

New Delhi: The finance ministry on Saturday announced that it will simplify the new income-tax return (ITR) forms that required a taxpayer to fill details of all banks accounts and foreign trips undertaken in the past financial year.
The move comes after criticism from tax experts who said the new ITR was not only cumbersome, but would have increased harassment of taxpayers.
“FM Arun Jaitley shall review the I-T compliance requirements,” Nirmala Sitharaman tweeted.
