Micromax, the Indian smartphone manufacturer seems to be facing immense heat and competition from rivals in the budget phone segment. With Xiaomi, Motorola, ASUS, Lenovo and Microsoft launching budget smartphones almost every second month, Micromax does not want to lose ground.
A media invite stating ‘Be the first to get your hands on the Micromax Canvas Spark! Join us for an electrifying get together and witness the reveal of this exciting gadget!’ was released from the manufacturer. Come April 21, Micromax will unveil a new budget smartphone, the Canvas Spark.
Rumours suggest that the smartphone will sport a price tag of Rs 6,000 and feature a 4.7-inch display. One can expect the Canvas Spark to carry an 8MP camera and run on a quad-core processor. The Micromax Canvas Spark will be sold exclusively on Snapdeal, the online shopping portal, which has a tie-up with the manufacturer.
