Masarat Alam hits back at government
‘Government was living in a fool’s paradise’
Srinagar: Separatist leader Masarat Alam Bhat said on Thursday that by registering criminal cases against him and other activists, neither the government will achieve anything nor will such “pastime” address the issue of Kashmir.
Apparently not worried by chief minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed’s decision that action under law would be taken against him and others, Bhat said that the government was living in a fool’s paradise as it seemingly believes that by lodging an FIR against him, “it will crush the freedom struggle in Kashmir”.
The separatist leader added that by registering FIRs “against us reality in Kashmir can’t be ignored or suppressed.”
