Watch: Irrfan, Deepika reminisce good old days in 'Bezubaan'

The slow moving track has been penned down by Manoj Yadav and Anupam Roy

Mumbai: While the first song of 'Piku' saw them embarking on a road trip, the second song has Deepika and Irrfan reminisce good old days in 'Bezubaan'. The slow moving track portrays that the two have drifted apart because of Deepika's 90-year-old son, Amitabh Bachchan. The meaningful lyrics have been written by Manoj Yadav and Anupam Roy, and crooned by Anupam.

Director Shoojit Sircar definitely couldn’t have found anyone better than three stars- Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan for the character roles. A quirky, comic father-daughter story, the film derives its title from Satyajit Ray’s short film Pikoo’s Diary.

‘Piku’ also marks coming together of Shoojit Sircar, Ronnie Lahiri and Juhi Chaturvedi, the team behind Vicky Donor. Produced by MSM Motion Pictures (a division of Sony Entertainment Network), Saraswati Entertainment and Rising Sun Films, distributed worldwide by YRF, ‘Piku’ will release worldwide on May 8, 2015.

It explores the relationship of father-daughter duo, Amitabh and Deepika. The arguments between the two have been subtly highlighted. It is not exactly a piece of cake for Irrfan who dons the hat of a mediator between the two.

So are you ready to strap on as ‘Piku’ takes you on a journey with her pesky and cranky old father on the streets of Kolkattam, in this one of a kind family drama. The film will hit theatres on May8, 2015.
