How to watch Game of Thrones for free
Game of Thrones, the new season everyone is waiting for, has released with the premiere. HBO will stream the episodes to its customers with the highest content quality possible. However, you need to pay for the service and it is not available in India as yet. Wait; there is a way you can watch it for free, explains Gizmodo.
HBO Now is a $15 per month service for watching TV shows using your internet connection. So unless you are paying for it or borrowing your friend’s username and password, you cannot use it.
Now here is a catch—if you are an Apple device owner, you could just be lucky. iPhone, iPad, iPod and Apple TV users can simply get to see the show for free, at least for some time. When Apple held the keynote event in March, they spoke about tying up exclusively with HBO, and that’s how you can take some advantage with it. If you own any Apple product, simply download the HBO Now app for your device, register for an account and you will get a 30-day free trial. Have multiple devices? Use different accounts to get more time on HBO Now. Sadly, this service is presently available to US residents only. However, you can still trick the service by using VPN software like Hotspot Shield or something similar.
So proceed to getting the HBO Now account for free. Pick an Apple device or find one around you (friend or even your local showroom would work), download the HBO Now app from the App Store and select the ‘Start free trial with iTunes’ option. Fill in details of your name, address and password, etc. Don’t worry; you don’t need a credit card for this.
Once done, you can enjoy free access to HBO Now for a limited trial period. Now you can use this username and password and watch the shows for free using any computer or browser. The need for an Apple device is simply for iTunes and getting the 30-day free trial period offer.
Once again, you need to be in the US to avail this offer. If you are elsewhere, you can make use of a VPN software to tunnel your way through the internet.
