Andhra Pradesh to build MoU bridges with China
Hyderabad: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and the delegation accompanying him will sign 13 Memoranda of Understandings (MoUs) with various Chinese companies during their six-day tour of the country that began on Sunday.
In the first leg of its visit to Beijing, the AP delegation will sign six Government-to-Business (G2B) MoUs. The AP government will sign a MoU with the Camel Group, a company engaged in research and development, manufacture, distribution and recycling of storage batteries.
Another MoU will be signed with an industry body, China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). The CCPIT promotes China’s international economic and commercial interests. This is accomplished by developing business cooperation and exchanges with foreign countries. The AP government will sign another MoU with CCPIT in the construction sector.
On the last leg of the delegation’s tour in Shanghai under B2B segment, GMR will sign MOU with Chinese toy maker pals Plush. The world leading play store giant will set up its only overseas operations in Sri City. During the visit Mr Naidu and the AP delegation will also meet a number of industrialists, investors and businessmen and invite them to explore the investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh.
Following the visit of Guizhou International Investment Corporation delegates to Vizag last November, the AP government will ink an MoU with the Corporation. The AP government will further sign an MOU with Sinoma International Engineering Company that operates in equipment manufacturing and supply and engineering sector. Another MoU will be signed with New Hope Liuhe Company, the firm engages in integration of farming industry operations, such as feed production, livestock breeding and slaughtering and meat processing.
Under the Business to Business (B2B) segment AP will sign two key MoUs with Chinese industries in Beijing. The AP government will sign MOU with Vertex Cements (India) and Sinoma. The Vertex Cements has already come forward to set up their cement unit at Gangavaram in Guntur district. Leading manufacturer and supplier of apparels Brandix and Chinese professional manufacturer and export of blankets, Jiangsu Kingday Textile Company will sign an MPU in Beijing.
In the second destination Chengdu, the AP government will sign three MOUs with Chinese Companies. AP government will sign MOU with Sichuan Chuanyi Automation Company and industry in supply, erection, commission of automated instrumentation for industrial uses. Another MOU sign with is real estate Company Panzhihua Guanghua Group Real Estate Development. The third MOU is with Sichuan Vehiline Information Technology Company.
India based Energy sector firm VSF Energy will sign MOU with China Western Power Industrial Company (CWPC). The Chinese Company is the base of research and development, manufacture and export in China for large scale power plant boiler, special type boiler and power station auxiliary equipment. CWPC is also the professional supplier of system solutions for power equipment.

During the visit the AP CM Naidu and AP delegation will also meet a number of industrialists, investors and businessmen inviting them to explore the investment opportunities in the AP state.
