Watch: Tim Southee is a master of relay-catching
Pune: Kings XI Punjab’s top order struggled to maintain required run-rate and eventually lost the game by 26 runs against Rajasthan Royals at new home ground MCA International Stadium in Pune. The failure of upper half left a lot of work for skipper Bailey to do. He had no choice but to go after the bowlers.

His one such attempted big shot was plucked by an airborne Southee but since the Kiwi feared crossing the boundary ropes with ball in his hand, he threw it back and Karun Nair showed immense presence of mind to catch it.
Unbelievable stuff by Tim Southee and Karun Nair! George Bailey departs & dare we say, the #Royals have this now! #KXIPvRR #AlwaysARoyal

But this was not the first time when Tim Southee had shown his brilliance in relay catching. In Champions League T20 last year, Southee did this.

And there was no 'whether the catch was legal or not' controversy about both the Southee catches like it happened during this stunning effort near the boundary rope.
