Sachin Tendulkar to make a comeback?

Sachin posted a picture of himself wearing the helmet as he donned the Mumbai Indians blue jersey

Mumbai: In what may seem to bring great joy to his large fan-following, Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar might probably make a comeback to cricket and if its anything to go by, according to his recent post on social media, the ‘Little Master’ might be seen playing for Mumbai Indians in the cash-rich Indian Premier League Season 8.

Sachin posted a picture of himself wearing the helmet as he donned the Mumbai Indians blue jersey on Facebook and Twitter sending his fans into a frenzy raising questions whether the 41-year-old might feature in the playing XI when Rohit Sharma-led team face George Bailey-led Kings XI Punjab at the Wankhede on Sunday.

Sachin has always received a huge roar whenever he takes the field and even when he’s off it, the cheer in fact gets louder.

Earlier, during the launch of his autobiography, ‘Playing it My Way’ in England in February, Sachin Tendulkar was asked to pick his World Cup 2015 seminfinsalists. The batting maestro picked India, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. The same four teams have made it to the final four of the eleventh edition of the World Cup.

For more than a handful of his supporters Tendulkar is God of cricket. But it seems he also has a few shades of Nostradamus or Paul Octopus in him as well.

Tendulkar retired from all formats of the game in 2013 after an illustrious career that saw him amass over 30,000 international runs and is currently working as a mentor for the Mumbai Indians in the lucrative T20 league.

We think however, that a comeback is highly unlikely and the post by the cricket icon can well be a fan magnet.
