After 'Jai Ho', Daisy Shah lands a role in 'Hate Story 3'

The actress bagged the role after Salman's recommendation
Mumbai: Salman Khan’s career graph sailed through highs and lows. But after he made it to the top, he made sure to help budding actors make it big. He is known to have mentored several young actors including Arjun Kapoor and Sooraj Pancholi, and is responsible for the debuts a number of actresses including Daisy Shah.
After launching Daisy’s acting career in his film ‘Jai Ho’, Salman has now helped her land a role in the third instalment of the erotic-horror series ‘Hate Story’, reports stated.
According to reports, Salman made a few calls and helped the actress bag a parallel role in the film which will also feature Zarine Khan, Sharman Joshi and Karan Singh Grover in the lead.Bushan Kumar who is good friends with Salman reportedly narrated the script to Daisy and the actress is now on board.
Directed by Vishal Pandya, the film goes on floors in May and will be shot extensively in Mumbai and Mauritius. Unlike the earlier franchise, Hate Story 3 has two actors and actresses. This is a complete new star cast coming together.
Hate Story franchise is known for the plot of revenge and Hate Story 3 too deals with the same but with more twist in the story. Producer Bhushan Kumar says, “Hate Story 2 was a hit project and it was essential to take this franchise ahead. The new star cast suits the characters of the film and this franchise will have more twists than the earlier one.”
Interestingly, before bagging her full-fledged debut film, she was seen sharing screen space with Salman in ‘Tere Naam’. Remember Salman leading his band of 100 girls in ‘Lagan Lagi’? Gyrating to the tunes, Daisy was one of the background dancers in the song.
