Mumbai: While Anushka Sharma set the stage on fire with her electrifying performance at the opening ceremony of the Indian Premiere League (IPL), her beau Virat Kohli was all smiles. The actress, along with other stars opened the prestigious event on Tuesday night at the Salt Lake Stadium, in Kolkata.
The cameras managed to capture the Royal Challengers Bangalore captain blushing as he watched his girlfriend perform. The TV cameras kept focusing on Virat’s reaction as Anushka gyrated to her hit songs on stage.
Even as Virat enjoyed Anushka’s performance, the Twiteratti begged to differ. Calling the performance a ‘damp squib’.
The couple arrived together at Kolkata aiport on Monday evening, to attend the IPL opener.
