Mumbai: Here’s Sonam Kapoor’s first look as the late Neerja Bhanot. The actress will be seen playing the titular role in ‘Neerja’, the biopic on the brave flight attendant.
Fox Star Studios released an animated picture of the actress’ first look. The actress will star in Ram Madhvani’s second feature film.
Neerja Bhanot was the brave flight attendant who lost her life saving others during the 1986 hijack incident. Bhanot was murdered while saving passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on September 5, 1986.
Posthumously, she is the youngest recipient of India's highest civilian award for bravery, the Ashok Chakra
