Lenovo has released the 4G LTE-enabled A7000 budget smartphone with a price tag of Rs 8,999. The smartphone is a successor to the previous sibling, the A6000, which was one of the highest-selling product in the budget segment.
The Lenovo A7000 offers dual-SIM 4G support. Sporting a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek MT6572M chipset with eight cores buzzing at 1.5GHz along with 2GB of RAM. The rear camera sports an 8MP sensor while the secondary camera is a 5MP. An internal storage of 8GB is provided and can be expanded using a micro SD card. Connectivity options offered by the Lenovo A7000 are 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-fi, GPS and Bluetooth.
The budget 4G smartphone is fuelled by a 2900 mAh battery and the device weighs 140g, measures 7.99mm with respect to thickness and runs Android Lollipop as the operating system.
The Lenovo A7000 was unveiled at the MWC 2015 in Barcelona Spain, and the device will be available exclusively on Flipkart for a price of Rs 8,999, starting April 15.
