First look: Ranveer Singh dons a fun yet stylish avatar in 'Dil Dhadakne Do'

Mumbai: Here’s Ranveer Singh’s first look in Zoya Akthar’s upcoming film ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’. The actor, who recently underwent surgery, is currently on bed-rest, but was very excited to unveil the first look.

Ranveer will essay the role of a simple Punjabi boy Kabir Mehra. The makers have managed to keep his look simple yet stylish. In the picture above he can be seen sporting a plain white t-shirt and jeans with casual loafers. As the film is a holiday film, the costume designers have stuck to simple resort wear ensembles.

The film boasts of an incredible star cast including Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akthar, Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma. The former lovers Anushka and Ranveer will be seen romancing each other onscreen.

The film revolves around a dysfunctional Punjabi family that sets out on a vacation cruise. A major portion of the film was shot on a real cruise, and minor portions in parts of Mumbai.

The trailer of ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ will be out on April 15, followed by its release on June 5, 2015.
