A normal day in a Prime Minister's life

PM Modi did not let his daily yoga session and practice of dhyan affected by his daily schedule
Bengaluru: Amidst his busy schedule, Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not miss his early yoga session on Friday at Raj Bhavan where he is staying. Mr Modi, squeezed in time for his favorite yoga session and practice of dhyan at around 4:30 am in his room itself. Post the yoga session, he glanced through important news clippings which were posted on his dedicated news app on his I-pad and mobile phone.
“Mr Modi’s team has developed a dedicated App where he can glance through each news item he is interested in. For instance, he does not like to miss any news concerning the party or party image. The people’s perception on issues like the land bill and the opposition viewpoint are also of interest to him,” a senior leader told this newspaper. After glancing through news, the PM held a morning round of discussions with his secretaries in Delhi and gave them instructions over phone.
“He invests more energy in subjects related to external affairs, home affairs and security related issues. When he is out of Delhi, he likes to keep a tab on these issues personally,” the source explained. Apart from this, Mr Modi was closeted with BJP national president Amit Shah and few prominent leaders at the national level to fine-tune the strategy to organise the public meeting and national executive meeting smoothly.
