Mumbai: The most-awaited film of the year has finally locked its date of release. Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar starrer ‘Wazir’ that was previously named ‘Do’, is set to get the ball spinning.
Bejoy Nambiar of ‘Shaitan’ fame has directed the upcoming drama.
Big B is seen essaying the role of a wheelchair-ridden chess master while Farhan Akhtar plays a tough cop. The film that went on floors in September is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, also features Aditi Rao Hydari, as its leading lady. While the teaser did not impress many, this film is still one of the most-awaited films of the year with its unusual cast.
Wazir will hit the theatres on October 2.
