Hyderabad: There will be a lunar eclipse on April 4, which will be visible all over India. The people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana can only see the last part of the eclipse when the partially eclipsed moon rises on Saturday evening.
Birla Science Centre director B.G. Sidharth said, “It is a total lunar eclipse but will not be visible in the two states. The people in AP and TS can see the partially eclipsed moon as it rises in the east.”
The eclipse will start at 3.47 pm and totality will be reached at 5.30 pm. The total eclipse will last only for a few minutes. AP and TS cannot see the beginning and the total eclipse since by that time the moon would not have risen over the two states.
The eclipse will start ending at 5.32 pm. The moon will rise in Hyderabad at 6.32 pm. The eclipse will be completed at 7.15 pm. This will give people in the two states about 32 minutes to watch the eclipse as it concludes.
