Man killed by gravestone as he tended to mother-in-law's grave

The man was decorating a gravesite for Easter died when a headstone fell on him
London: A 74-year-old man was killed in Pennsylvania after his mother-in-law's gravestone collapsed on top of him during the cemetery visit.
Police officials revealed that Stephen Woytack was kneeling next to the grave marker when the top portion toppled on to his head and killed him, Sky News reported.
Woytack had been helping his wife tie a cross around the stone at St Joseph's Cemetery in Throop on when the incident occurred.
The cemetery 's caretaker, Ed Kubilus, said that some headstones become unstable this time of year as the ground begins to thaw, which causes the bases to sink slightly The granite headstone weighed 300-400 pounds (140 to 180 kilos). Woytack's death has been listed as accidental. Woytack's wife of 46 years, Lucy said the accident "happened so quickly".
