Sanjay Gupta pranks Abhishek-Aishwarya fans on April Fool's Day

Mumbai: The internet went into a frenzy, after director Sanjay Gupta announced some really exciting news on Wednesday. The director made us believe that Aishwarya Rai, who is all set to return to the silver screen, would be working alongside hubby Abhishek Bachchan.

After nearly four years, the former Miss World decided to work in Sanjay Gupta’s Jazbaa that also features Irrfan Khan, John Abraham, Shabana Azmi, Abhimanyu Singh and Atul Kulkarni.

Sanjay while shooting on the location tweeted, “Big excitement at the shoot today as Abhishek Bachchan shoots his special appearance in JAZBAA.”

However don't get your hopes up too high. Soon after the day ended Sanjay revealed that the tweet was just his idea of the perfect April Fool's day prank on the fans. He posted on Twiiter, "Another kick ass day of shoot beckons. You know your doing good at work when the heat doesn't bother you. And April Fool's Day comes to an end and so does my joke of Abhishek Bachchan doing a cameo in JAZBAA. Cheers all. " (sic)
