According to a release by the government, Bishan and Toa Payoh towns, that CM Naidu visited on his second day of Singapore visit, are established towns with effective housing and commercial nodes in addition to good transport and recreational facilities.
During his visit, the Chief Minister was informed that a huge volunteer network – close to 3,000 people – and MPs too work to take care of Singapore’s parks.
The Park officer informed the Chief Minister that people are continuously consulted for value-addition and that “there’s no park better than a people’s park.”
