Andhra Pradesh gets Rs 1,500 crore for Capital
Rs 500 crore will be spent exclusively for the construction of Raj Bhavan
New Delhi: The Centre on Monday allotted Rs 1,500 crore as part of the special financial support to AP to build essential facilities for the capital.
This includes Rs 1,000 crore to build essential amenities for the capital, for which approval has been given to ministry of urban development, a statement issued by the finance ministry said.

The other Rs 500 crore has to be spent exclusively for the construction of Raj Bhavan, State Secretariat, State Assembly and the High Court, it said. The funds were released under Section 94(3) of the AP Reorganisation Act.
