Baby born with 'elephant trunk' in Aligarh worshiped as Lord Ganesha

The baby's condition may well be a genetic mutation

A baby girl born in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh reportedly is being worshipped as Lord Ganesha after she was born with a facial deformity that resembles an elephant's trunk.
The video footage depicts the baby with her aunt who goes on to say that "My sister-in-law gave birth to a girl and her face looks exactly like Lord Ganesha.Everybody says she is the incarnation the Ganesh. Everyone is flocking around her and giving their offerings."
According to reports, her facial lump is between her eyes and appears to have divided her nose in two when the girl was still in the womb. Doctors will examine the baby girl to find out the extent of her condition and whether they need to operate.
