Sushant Singh Rajput is the mastermind behind crime in 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy'
Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput has been portrayed as a detective wrapped up in a set of deadly, sword-wielding villains in ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’. The trailer featuring murders, dead bodies has built a lot of curiosity about who is the mastermind behind the crime. Adding a twist to the tale is a video that has surfaced on the internet, two days prior to the release of the film. It reveals that Sushant plays the villain in the film.

Till now, we saw Sushant as a dhoti clad detective sporting a dowdy moustache and neatly side-parted hair. The clip that has found its way to internet has Sushant and the villain share an identical look.

The clip captures Sushant acting out a scene where he is seen murdering someone, which testifies that Sushant is indeed the mystery man behind that cloak.
However, Dibakar remains unfazed with the spoiler video which has marred the anticipation among the audiences. In an recent interview, he said that, he is aware of the video revealing the murderers' identity, yet promises that the film is beyond that. He added that the video itself won't take anything from the audience, and they will be in for jaw-dropping sequences.

The video however has been pulled down by Yash Raj Films as it might hamper the box office collections. Previously, too, the climax of Aamir Khan’s 'Talaash' was revealed a day before its release and the film had suffered a setback.
The film is based on the detective character Byomkesh Bakshy created by Bengali writer Saridindu Bandopadhyay and is one of the most iconic characters of all time. Set in Calcutta in the 1940s, just out of college, Byomkesh pits himself against an evil genius who is out to destroy the world. He is on a mission to unravel his very first mystery, that could quite possibly be his last mistake.
Expect the unexpected as the film hits the theaters this Friday. It will be interesting to see the events unfold on the big screen. Watch the trailer here.
