Mumbai: Say hello to Nargis Fakhri and Dev Patel, the newest BFFs in B’town. According to a report in a leading daily, the actors were spotted dining together at a posh eatery in South Mumbai.
Going by the pictures that have surfaced online, it was made to look like a broken-hearted Dev has found comfort in his new friend Nargis. Dev recently parted ways with his girlfriend Freida Pinto, after a committed relationship of six years.
Reports stated that an eyewitness at the eatery said the duo seemed to be very happy and comfortable in each other’s company. But don’t get your hopes up too high, a friend of the actress told the daily that they aren’t in a relationship, and Dev is in the country to begin working on his next film, a biopic on the mathematician Ramanujan.
Not just that, Nargis herself later took to Twitter to slam the daily. The actress revealed through her tweet that she wasn't dining at a local eatery in South Mumbai, but was actually having dinner with a group of eight at a pizza place in the suburbs. The picture that made its way on the internet was actually a video grab from one of YouTube sensation Superwoman aka Lilly Singh's videos.
Nargis tweeted, "As per media,apparently a dinner crowd of 8 at a pizza place is the same as a "quiet dinner at a plush sobo hotel." (sic)
