Sakshi Tanwar to star in Indian adaptation of 'Game of Thrones'

The actress will essay the role Daenerys Targaryen, Mother of Dragons
Mumbai: Bollywood and Indian television has always looked westwards for inspiration, which is why we aren’t surprised that Sony Entertainment will be featuring ‘Rani Mahal’, a period drama, which is said to be an adaptation of the globally popular ‘Game of Thrones’.
According to reports, TV star Sakshi Tanwar will essay the role of Daenerys Targaryen, Mother of Dragons on the show. Anita Hassanandani of ‘Yeh Mohabbetein’ fame will play the role of Cersei Lannister. The famous Jon Snow will be played by Parth Samthaan from ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’.
