WC 2015 IND vs AUS: Twitter trolls Anushka Sharma after India's World Cup defeat

Sydney: Poor Anushka Sharma. The Lady Love of swashbuckling Indian batsman and the team’s enfant terrible Virat Kohli had only travelled to Sydney to bring him luck.

It didn’t help as Virat was out for just one run in India’s disastrous chase at the semis today. India were backing on a massive innings from the 26-year-old, but Kohli misjudged a shot from Aussie pacer Mitchell Johnson and top-edged it to wicket-keeper Brad Haddin.

We do not condone the fury that greeted the actress on social media after India’s humiliating loss. She was there only to cheer her beau! But some of the reactions are damn funny. Take a look.
