Assistant professor missing, leaves suicide note

Hyderabad: A 27-year-old assistant professor, working at the Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, went missing after leaving a suicide note with the librarian. A. Spandana, who had got married last year, was reportedly depressed due to family issues. Spandana, who went to the university campus on Wednesday, left her laptop and a personal diary with the librarian, and called her father over the phone.
“She asked her father to come and collect her belongings. After he got her diary, he found a suicide note which stated she was depressed because of certain family issues,” said Mailardevpally inspector S.N. Javed. The woman has been missing since then and her phone is switched off. Her father V.P.S. Raju lodged a complaint with the police on Wednesday evening.
Her last cell tower location was in Zaheerabad. The police has sent teams to search for the woman.
