WC 2015 IND vs AUS: Rain threat in Sydney, tickets sold out
Mumbai: Apart from the teams, the script of the ICC World Cup 2015 has a new protagonist – rain. After appearing in Auckland during the first semifinal between New Zealand and South Africa, it is threatening to come down in Sydney as well where India will take on Australia in the second semifinal on Thursday.
According to sources, it has been raining in Sydney since Tuesday morning. The downpour started during an International Cricket Council promotional event at the Sydney Harbour area.

Though the weather forecast for Thursday says the sky is going to be clear but overnight rains may play spoilsport, affecting the pitch.
But rain or no rain, the spectators are expecting reigning boundaries and sixes as old foes – Team India and the Kangaroos – come out in the middle. All tickets, reportedly, have been sold out.
Apart from the localites, a host of Indians have travelled from other countries to catch the Men in Blue in action.

Though Friday is a reserve day but even if that day gets washed out, India will be through to the final for more wins in the group stage.
