WC 2015: New Zealand, South Africa asked to keep work on hold for World Cup semifinal
Mumbai: Brendon McCullum knows how to have crowds in his corner. While the New Zealand skipper has a knack to enthral the crowds with his big hitting, this time around he has won the fans as he requested all the company heads to allow their employees to watch the New Zealand vs South Africa semifinal in Auckland on Tuesday.
The letter reads, “They may not be in office, but rest assured they’ll be putting in the hard yards at Eden Park, with helping us get over the line against South Africa.
“Come down and support us yourself. We’ve got a seat with your name on it and a flag that won't wave itself.”

New Zealand's rivals in the World Cup semifinal, South Africa, too posted something on the similar lines, staing #WORKMUSTWAIT.
We think work must wait during the Semi Finals. Retweet if you’re with us. http://t.co/R5fDxQIBv1 pic.twitter.com/9Egahs5ksv

Coming back to McCullum, this is not the first time when this beloved New Zealander had made such a gesture. During a bilateral series against Sri Lanka, ahead of the World Cup, McCullum did this.
