Huawei sends out invites; likely to unveil its flagship handset this April

After releasing a series of teaser posters on social media, Huawei seems to have given out a hint regarding the date of unveiling its flagship handset - Huawei Ascend P8.

A report by GSMinfo stated that Huawei has sent out invitations for its press conference, which will be held on April 15, in London. The company may unveil the P8 flagship handset at this event. The upcoming flagship handset by Huawei will likely feature a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, having a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It may offer around 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage capacity.

Meanwhile, Antonio Monaco has leaked out an image of Huawei Ascend P8 on Twitter, which shows the speaker grills and charging port of the handset. The thickness of the P8 model will measure around 6mm. A report by Android Headlines states that the Huawei Ascend P8 handset is expected to run on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and sport a 13MP rear camera. Huawei Ascend P8 will be fuelled with a 2,600mAh battery, which is expected to offer a longer battery life.

There hasn’t been any official announcement regarding the price of Huawei P8. However, the MRP of the soon-to-be unveiled Huawei Ascend P8 smartphone is rumoured to be between Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 for the Indian market.
