Congress a party of liars, repeats the same lie 100 times: Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru: Much to the shock of Congress, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday embarrassed his own party by calling it corrupt and full of professional liars.

Siddaramaiah was attending a public function 'Young Turk' at the Bangalore University auditorium when he shockingly said, “Congress party leaders are good at repeating the same lie a hundred times. They know how to make a lie a truth. They keep repeating it one hundred times till becomes truth. It has many professional liars and corrupt people."

However, on being pointed out, Siddaramaiah later apologised and corrected his speech saying that his was referring to opposition party BJP and not Congress.

Meanwhile, various Dalit organisations in the state are demanding a replacement of Siddaramaiah with a Dalit leader, if the party wanted to win the next Assembly elections.
