Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor, we hear, will be sporting a completely new look in his next film Udta Punjab. The actor, who has been instructed to put on some weight, has been experimenting with a few options lately.
A source close to the actor confirms, “Shahid has been working on getting a bulky look and has been religiously pumping iron at the gym to build muscle. He is also constantly in touch with his stylists and hairdressers to select the final look. He has tried more than 15 options till now.”
The source continues, “Since he wants to do something drastic, he has also been experimenting with colouring his hair, growing a French beard and so on. Besides that, he has been routinely attending workshops and has confessed to his close friends that this one is his toughest role so far.”
Coming after Haider, that sure is a tall statement.
