Microsoft has launched its new affordable Internet ready phone - Nokia 215 Dual SIM in the Indian market. The power-packed device, Nokia 215 Dual SIM gives consumer’s access to the Internet, connecting them with friends and family around the world, enabling access to popular web content and Microsoft service. Nokia 215 is the first in its category that will bring consumers the choice of accessing Facebook in 9 local languages. The device also comes pre-loaded with Facebook and Messenger with instant notifications so that people never miss out on the latest messages, updates and feeds from their friends and family.
With a price tag of just Rs 2,149, Nokia 215 Dual SIM is Microsoft’s most affordable Internet-ready, entry-level phone that comes with replacement guarantee. This makes it perfectly suited for first-time mobile phone buyers or as a secondary phone for just about anyone. Speaking at the launch, Raghuvesh Sarup, Director-Marketing, Nokia India Sales Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Microsoft Mobiles Oy, was quoted saying, “India is a ‘mobile-first’ market, and feature phones are the first port of access to internet for a large number of mobile users. Microsoft remains dedicated to driving innovation and introducing phones to first time mobile phone users with great technology packed inside.”
He further added, “With the launch of Nokia 215 we are proud to partner with Facebook to improve the user experience further allowing more people to enjoy online experiences for the first time – like Facebook, Facebook Messenger, MSN Weather, and browsing with Opera Mini at an affordable price”.
