Hyderabad kids roar unitedly to save tigers

KIds displayed placards and banners calling for support of tiger conservation

Hyderabad: Around 150 school kids accompanied by their teachers gathered at the Biodiversity Complex as part of the Kids for Tigers initiative and displayed placards and banners calling for support of tiger conservation. The kids were from various schools like Sanskriti, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Army Pre-Primary School and Defense Laboratory School.

“Tigers can take care of themselves if we stop interfering and destroying their habitat. Today more than poaching the vacuous development model that we are adopting threatens the existence of wild tigers”, said Imran Siddiqui, a wildlife biologist.
