Woman in Hyderabad plans attack on fiancé to test his bravery

Hyderabad: A 20-year-old woman allegedly planned and attacked her fiancé only to test his bravery. The woman arranged three men to execute the plan of a mock robbery hatched by her.

The woman, a resident of Malkajgiri, got engaged with a 26-year-old carpenter from Kushaiguda a month ago. About a week ago, she called her fiancé to a place saying that she wanted to talk to him. However, the man was attacked and robbed when he came there. The man lodged a complaint with the police. When police picked up the attackers, they revealed the woman’s plan.

When questioned, she confessed that she had planned the attack but her intention was only to check whether her fiancé can fight back and she had only asked the attackers to threaten him. Ironically, after the dramatic episode, both got married on Sunday.

Police said a compromise was worked out between the parties as the man still wished to marry the woman.
