Uplifting private body parts trending amongst women
Washington: Cosmetic surgery has become a global trend especially among women who believe labiaplasty is an evolving concept of beauty.
The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery noticed that Americans spent over 12 billion dollars on assorted procedures in 2014, and out of this, men were more likely to get aesthetic cosmetic procedures done, in both surgical and no surgical options over the past 5 years, Washington Times reported.
The organisation stated that there were over 10 million cosmetic procedures performed last year with the greatest increase in 'buttock augmentation' up by 86 per cent along with 'labiaplasty' i.e. contouring of distinctly female body parts up by 49 per cent, and no surgical fat reduction, which has increased by 43 per cent.
Liposuction, breast augmentation, eyelid surgery, tummy tucks and nose surgery were the top five procedures for men and women, but if we get specific then men prefers 'blepharoplasty', an eyelid lift, male breast reduction and facelifts.
Dr. James Grotting, president-elect of the group said that men, like women, were considering their options to maintain a youthful appearance that exudes exuberance and energy and the full spectrum of care offered by board-certified plastic surgeons caters to their individual needs.
