Guess who: Today a heroine but once a dancer in a Salman Khan film

Mumbai: Salman Khan’s career graph sailed through highs and lows. But after he made it to the top, he made sure to help budding actors make it big. He is known to have mentored several young actors including Arjun Kapoor and Sooraj Pancholi, and is responsible for the debuts of actresses like Sonakshi Sinha and Daisy Shah.

Daisy Shah has come a long way from winning a title in Miss Dombivili beauty contest to romancing Salman Khan. She started off her acting career as an extra in a Sunny Deol film but certainly owes her success to Salman. She made it to the big league with ‘Jai Ho’.

But before bagging her full-fledged debut film, she was seen sharing screen space with Salman in ‘Tere Naam’. Remember Salman leading his band of 100 girls in ‘Lagan Lagi’? Gyrating to the tunes, Daisy was one of the background dancers in the song.
