Medak: A 35-year-old man who had been in police custody in Telangana’s Medak district hanged himself with his shirt in the lock up. Talari Laxman was brought dead to Gandhi hospital on Thursday morning.
Laxman had been accused of murdering a woman in December after burning her body and dumping it.
According to television reports, three policemen have been suspended after the incident. The police have ordered an inquiry as the death took place when the man was in the lock-up.
