Google releases Android 5.1 Lollipop

The update is expected to address the glitches and bugs faced by Android 5.0 Lollipop

Google released an upgraded version of the Lollipop operating system, the Android 5.1 Lollipop. The update is expected to address the glitches and bugs faced by Android Lollipop occasionally.

Android 5.1 Lollipop offers support for multiple SIM cards, Device Protection and high definition (HD) voice on compatible phones as well. Its Device Protection feature is Google's answer to Apple's Activation Lock and works on the same anti-theft idea. The feature will keep your stolen device locked unless you sign in with your Google account, even if someone resets your device to factory settings.

Google also claims that its new 5.1 version of Android Lollipop will improve stability and performance of Android handsets.
