Arjun Rampal reacts to divorce rumours, asks media to 'mind their own business'
Mumbai: Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jessia's personal life has become like TV soap with speculations about their equation splashed across the media. Over the past one-year, their marriage has come under a lot of scrutiny after Arjun’s name surfaced in connection with the divorce of Hrithik-Susanne. Mid-Day has reported that the couple are heading for a divorce on mutual terms.
A friend of the couple however told DC, “If he is filing for divorce, one would have seen him entering the court. Yesterday all news channels were stationed outside the court and I wonder who spread this news. Arjun is very angry about such rumours and he is away for a shoot and will take action accordingly once he is back.”
Recent reports about Mehr attending a bash minus Arjun fuelled these speculations. The friend added, “Can’t someone go alone to some place? Do couples always go out together? There can be days where you go to someone’s party alone. Why make a big issue out of this. This news is utterly baseless and has no truth to it. They are not filing for a divorce.”
The actor took to Twitter on Wednesday to slam the media for falsely publishing stories about his alleged divorce, and even revealed that the couple in question who was present at Bandra court were his old friends Marc Robbinson and Wallucha.
He posted on Twitter:
