Skoda expects to register 25 per cent hike in total sales
The sales were stagnant in the first two months of this year
Skoda Auto India expects to register about 25 per cent increase in its total car sales. Speaking on the sidelines of the launch of Skoda’s Zeal edition, the company’s regional sales manager – south and west Manish Tiwari said, “The sales were stagnant in the first two months of this year. However, we expect an increase of 20-25 per cent as the year progresses.”
The company sold 15,500 vehicles last year, out of which Telangana and Andhra Pradesh accounted for about 10 per cent of the total sales. Based out of Czech Republic, the auto manufacturer ventured into India in 2001 and has four models mainly in the sedan and SUV segment
