Motorola has announced the Moto Turbo for India, which is the international variant of the Droid Turbo. The new Moto Turbo features a 5.2-inch QHD display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels. The Moto Turbo is built using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor featuring a 2.7 GHz quad-core CPU (APQ8084) with 64-bit memory access. An Adreno 420 600 MHz GPU and 3GB of RAM helps boost the Moto Turbo for gaming and multimedia.
The Turbo features two variants of internal storage—32GB and 64GB. However, the Indian version will only feature 64GB of built-in storage. A 31MP primary camera makes an appearance on the rear panel, while the front sports a simple 2MP camera. The single GSM micro SIM Moto Turbo measures 8.3mm in thickness and weighs in at 169 grams and the shell is water-resistant.
The Moto Turbo also sports 4G LTE apart from 3G, EDGE, GPS and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac dual band. Fuelled with a huge 3900mAh battery, Motorola claims it has one of the biggest batteries in the segment and the supplied charger can juice the battery with 7-hours of usage time with just 15 minutes of charging.
The Moto Turbo runs on Android KitKat v4.4.4, but we are sure that Motorola will roll out a Lollipop update in a few weeks. Moto Turbo will be available for pre-orders on 9th of March on Flipkart, priced at Rs 41,999 for the 64GB Ballistic Nylon variant in India.
