Watch: Dibakar Banerjee unleashes the villain in 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy' trailer

Mumbai: The makers have just released the second trailer of the highly anticipated crime thriller ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’. The film is based on the detective character Byomkesh Bakshy created by Bengali writer Saridindu Bandopadhyay and is one of the most iconic characters of all time.

The trailer will definitely leave you asking for more. Set in Calcutta in the 1940s, just out of college, Byomkesh pits himself against an evil genius who is out to destroy the world. Watch him unravel his very first mystery, that could quite possibly be his last mistake.

Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, the film also stars Swastika Mukherjee, Anand Tiwari and Meiyang Chang. ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’ will release worldwide on April 3.
