Hyderabad: CCTV footages to help nab women kidnappers
Hyderabad: A day after K. Mamatha, 5 was allegedly kidnapped from a place near her house in Nallakunta, cops recovered surveillance camera footage which captured the women kidnappers.
While one woman looks like from a middle class family, the other looks like a maid. The family is clueless about the kidnappers and claim they haven't seen them before. Two more teams were formed to trace the kids.
The police on Saturday increased search teams from four to six and they were sent to various places to trace the kid.
CCTV footages from cameras installed near Bawarchi Hotel in Tarnaka and Padmavathi and Suraksha Hospitals were collected. The footage collected from the point near the Bawarchi Hotel had captured the accused better.
“Two women were captured. While one seemed to be belonging from a middle class family, another looked like a maid. Both were middle aged. One camera had captured them clearly,” said inspector P. Yadagiri.
The footages were shown to the kid's family but they were clueless. “We played the footage on a bigger screen to the kid’s family, but they claimed they didn't know the accused. They said they had never seen them before. The locals too are clueless,” the inspector said.
