Madrasa chief in Pakistan jailed for rape
Mohammed Faizan was sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment
Islamabad: A Pakistani court convicted a madrasa (religious seminary) chief for raping a teenage girl in a moving car. The Anti-Terrorism Court, Abbottabad, convicted Qari Naseer and his accomplices Mohammed Faizan and Hussain Mushtaq for subjecting a first-year girl to rape in a moving car.
ATC Judge Raja Masood sentenced Qari Naseer and Mohammed Faizan to 14 years of imprisonment and also sent co-accused Hussain Mushtaq, who was driving the car when his accomplices were raping, to ten years of imprisonment.
The rape case took place on May 12 last year when Qari Naseer, head of a seminary, and his two accomplices Mohammad Faizan and Hussain Mushtaq, tricked a student into sitting in their car with the help of an accomplice ‘Anam Bibi’, also a classmate of the victim. They have been booked under Anti Terrorism Act.
