Hyderabad cops help Pakistani woman
She was stopped at the Mumbai airport by the immigration officials
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad special branch police helped a young Pakistani woman to get through immigration in Mumbai. Iram Bano, 20, who came to Hyderabad to visit her relative in Hyderabad, was going to Doha from here. Bano was stopped at the Mumbai airport by the immigration officials stating that her details were not updated online.
After she informed her sponsor in Hyderabad about her situation, he approached the Pakistan and Bangladesh division of the Special Branch and lodged a complaint.
The SB officials soon furnished her immigration details and sent it to the Mumbai officials via fax, after which she was allowed to go. The SB officials said that the woman was travelling alone.
