Anti-paparazzi clothing collection will make your jaw drop
Innovative music producer, DJ, and recently turned fashion designer, Chris Holmes, has recently developed a unique brand of flash photography-reflective clothing, famously termed as anti-paparazzi clothing.
If one is keen to keep their carefully crafted public persona from being ruined by those pesky paparazzi, this is it!
Chris realised that whilst touring with Sir Paul McCartney, he was accidentally photo-bombing shots with his hyper-reflective clothing. Spot on!
Wondering how this works? The garments are coated in crystal nanospheres that reflect light, which makes the clothing light up when photographed with a flash.
When not exposed to a flash, the fabric looks very normal. But it has the effect of ruining photos, by messing up with the camera’s exposure settings.
Whether its hats, hoodies or smart suits, Chris hopes to use his garish garments for a greater purpose.
We're not sure about how this will benefit the common man but it is an interesting concept nevertheless.
After generating quite a bit of buzz with his initial concept, Chris launched a crowd-funding campaign through BetaBrand that allows people to preorder the products.
Now, the question is which celebrity will test it out. Watch how the idea was conceptualized in the video below.
